Ladies

Become a friend to over 80 ladies at Upminster Golf club and never left without a game or a competition as there is a qualifying competition or fun competition every Tuesday, and plenty of social golf on other days in the week, including weekends. With regular mixed competitions and a full entertainment program life is never dull.

The Ladies section at Upminster has over 80 ladies at all levels of ability able to play. Every Tuesday we have a mixture of competitive and fun competitions all through the year, many of which are drawn so that you can always find a new friend to play with. Ladies also meet on other days for social golf and we have a little saying for friendly golf on Thursday and Fridays  – “do you fancy nine and wine today?” – or just a cuppa and a sandwich.

A big draw for our club is our fantastic social scene with a busy bar and restaurant and special entertainment events all year round, including live music and dancing. We have 7 mixed competitions over the summer, four with fine dining, as well as other enjoyable competitions with our junior section and with other ladies sections from nearby Golf Clubs.

If you enjoy singing we also have a ladies choir that gives regular concerts and has performed at the Queens with Pixie Lott! And every year we have a ‘Lady Captains awayday’ which often includes a golf and spa weekend further afield.

On a serious golfing note, we have a Silver Team ,Bronze Team ,Harris Team and take part in the Annodata and Munro knockouts. We also have numerous Cup competitions – plenty of opportunities to get your name engraved on a trophy that’s been around for over 90 years and take part in the fantastic history of a very proud and established golf club.

So, if you want to play golf in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where the ladies all mix and have fun together contact us for more details.
