![]() | Joe Ellis – PGA Head ProfessionalAs a fully qualified PGA Professional, I have acquired lots of experience in coaching, custom fitting, retail and club repairs. I have primarily focussed in recent years on coaching, custom fitting and playing competitive golf. On course achievements include several professional wins. Combining the use of our GCQuad, video analysis, and tried and tested methods I have developed my own coaching style that has seen success with a wide range of golfers from beginners through to top quality players. I don’t believe there is one way to swing a golf club, although fundamental elements of the technique are key to success. My main coaching focus is on longer term improvements which I feel are best achieved by combining a combination of technique improvements as well as skills based practice. Most importantly when coaching, whilst it is important to me to gather as much data and information in as much detail as possible, my goal is to then put this across to you in the most simple way possible to make your improvements by keeping my explanations simple, and giving you a clear way to practice that is tailored to you based on how much time you have to give to practicing and playing. For custom fittings, I use a combination of technology and my knowledge to supply you with the best equipment possible. My goal for any fitting is simply to put together the best specification possible to make the biggest difference to your game. A fitting is a testing exercise, not a selling one. ![]() | Jodie Dartford – Teaching ProfessionalJodie has been the Head Professional at Upminster Golf Club since 2008. Jodie completed her PGA Diploma here and has been a Professional at the Club since 2004. Jodie has competed in several Ladies PGA events and through her success proceeded to then qualify to play on the Ladies European Tour. Jodie’s main passion has always been to teach, and is our teaching Professional at Upminster Golf Club. Jodie has recently started to introduce a Coaching Academy at the Club. I teach all ages and abilities which consist of members and visitors of the club. I believe in helping every client to understand what they are trying to achieve from each lesson and why, which then gives a much better understanding when they leave the lesson and go away to practice. Part of the introduction process in your first lesson will be to set realistic goals to suit your needs and expectations. Every lesson is complimented with a skytrak launch monitor offering video analysis of your ball flight which in turn shows you your progression throughout each lesson. Telephone 07939453842 |
